Peter Roberts was a founder member of the East London & City branch. He had interests in amateur dramatics, the Inland Waterways Association, Medway Queen Preservation Society, Railway & Canal Historical Society and the RNLI to name a few.
Every year he arranged a ramble through the wild of Essex (usually). Here are some pictures taken on the 2007 memorial ramble taken by Ron Andrews as were the photos of Chappel Beer Festival.
